The Second Path of Hebrew Tantra:

At this point that we are ready to embark on the next three Hebrew Tantric paths of loving. They are Giving (Transcendence), Giving and Receiving, and Giving up Control (Surrender). As the paths unfold it will become clear that all three are actually tributaries which feed into the overall stream of Giving.

These elements are no less critical to being a lover in the world than the Perception-Identification component of love’s definition. Without them, love’s growth is atrophied, and eventually love itself shrivels and passes away.

The ancient mystery of love, the Kabbalistic secret of the cherubs, taught us that all the essential elements of love are modeled by the sexual. Sexual Eros models what it might mean to be a far more expansive and erotic lover in all the stages of your life’s drama. These three are, of course, no exception.
