The result of non-erotic living is always bad choices, betrayals and pain. I am not in the flow. I wind up always having to watch my back. I am on the outside — exiled from my inner castle. I have lost face.

As Sufi Poet Rumi says so well:

The real orchards and fruits are within the heart; the
reflection of their beauty is falling upon this water and
earth (the external world)
all the deceived ones come to gaze on this reflection in the
opinion that this is the place of Paradise.
They are fleeing from the origins of the orchards; they are
Making merry over a phantom.
