Jealousy: Marc Gafni

Jealousy comes from not living in God. Jealousy is the profound dis-ease of sexual relationship. It is a reflection of our childish vulnerability to rejection or the withdrawal of love. It is for this reason that the response to jealousy can only be genuine spiritual practice.

For the goal of practice, is the realization that Love is the already present and already fulfilled Law and Radiance of Reality.

In this realization there is already Freedom from jealousy as well as from all other Reactive or Recoiling emotions.

We will never open up the full possibility of healing, healing the earth, healing our broken hearts, healing genocide, until we move beyond the core jealousy that lies in the coiled heart of existence.

To uncoil your heart you must open your heart.

It is the opening of the heart that is at the core of practice.

It is the jealousy that feels that “I am not Enough”.

That I only exist through ‘You’.

‘You’ may be the people that grants you your legacy. Immortality in temporal time is but another toy of unenlightened grasping.

‘You’ may be the sense of being right, the result if which is the absolute refusal to climb down the tree for fear that you might not exist at the bottom of the tree.

But the True Law of Existence is Love.

Love which transmutes Fear.

Love which allows you to give up being right in the fully and sure knowledge of the core certainty of your being.

I love you. I have always loved you. I will continue to love you.

You – whoever you are. Wherever you are. However you are.

And you, must evolve, step into your greatness, fix that which is broken, heal that which is shattered as if the very existence of God depended on it. Because it does.

And so it is.
