No two faces, say the masters, are ever the same. Every person is a radically and utterly unique subject of exquisite first-class art. It is all about having the eyes to see.
Perception is not a neutral camera that objectively records all that transpires around it.

The discipline of all spiritual practice is of perception. In ancient Israel there were schools of prophets. The prophets were called by the Hebrew terms Roeh or a Chozeh both seeing verbs. Hence the English words Seer and Visionary. There were academies in prophecy where the initiates would be trained in the art of perception.
