Love is a Verb

Once we understand that love is not a noun but a verb it all becomes clear. Love is a perception of infinitely unique soul print of every every breath-taking, creature we meet in the world. An emotion cannot be commanded; perception can. The emotion of love is neither flickering nor fickle. It is directly dependent on the energy and effort of our perception. Now it true of course that perception requires focus. Clearly we can’t focus on more than a finite amount of people.

….We just aren’t programmed for more intake. And that’s okay. For as any good Stephen Stills fan knows, “If you can’t be with the one you love, love the one you’re with.” Focus on that divine face in front of you for the time you are with them and you will become a full-fledged lover.

Can you even begin to imagine what a world we would have if we all responded just to the invitations to love which the universe proffered? Coffee houses, bars, dinner tables, hotel lounges would all become miniature Temples of divine presence.
