Liquid Love —To see the Future in the Now

There are then two distinct components in our biblical myth definition of loving. To love means to perceive the infinite specialness in an other; to reveal the divine in the other; to see in the other what no one else can see.

The second component of the definition is that I identify the other with that infinite specialness. “Yes, he has faults, but who he really is — is the amazingly beautiful human being that I see in him!” To hate is to hold in contempt, is to identify a person with their imperfection. To love is to identify the essence of your beloved with their infinite beauty, with their magic, larger than life, supernatural, super-special self.
